Privacy policy

When you enquire with Market Labs, we use your details to respond and discuss an AI assistant for your business. An enquiry is not permission for unrelated marketing.

Privacy questions or requests: hello@marketlabs.online.

Who this policy covers

Market Labs ("we", "us" and "our") builds AI assistants for small businesses. This policy covers enquiries through marketlabs.online, our mortgage broker page, our social media pages, Meta lead forms and direct communications with us.

It does not authorise us to access your business systems or your customers’ records. Any assistant implementation needs a separately agreed scope, access permissions and data-handling arrangements.

Information we collect

Please do not submit your customers’ personal information, loan applications, payslips, bank statements, identity documents, passwords or other sensitive information through our enquiry forms.

How we collect and use it

We collect information directly when you complete a form, email or message us, or discuss your enquiry with us. If you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta makes your submitted details available to Market Labs. You can review and edit prefilled contact details before submitting.

We use this information to respond, assess whether our service fits your needs, discuss a possible build, manage our communications, understand enquiry quality and protect our website and services. We may also retain information needed to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

You can browse without submitting an enquiry. You may ask a general question without identifying yourself, but we need suitable contact and business details to respond personally or prepare a proposal.

Contact and marketing choices

Submitting an enquiry asks us to contact you about that enquiry. It does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter or unrelated promotional messages. You can ask us to stop follow-up by replying to us or emailing hello@marketlabs.online.

Who may handle your information

Information is handled by the Market Labs people responsible for your enquiry and by service providers needed to operate our website, forms, email and business records. These include:

We do not sell your enquiry details. We may disclose information where you ask us to, or where disclosure is required or authorised by law. A provider’s own handling of information is also governed by its terms and privacy policy.

Storage and overseas processing

Enquiries may be held in the relevant form platform, our email and restricted business records. Our providers operate internationally, so information may be stored or processed outside Australia.

Tally states that its form data is stored in the European Union. Meta and Hostinger operate international infrastructure and service-provider networks. Locations depend on the service and its providers; we do not represent that all information remains in Australia. Their linked policies explain their international processing. Contact us if you need further information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.

Security and retention

We aim to limit access and the information we collect to what is needed for the enquiry. No website, email service or online storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Our policy is to keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including any legal record-keeping requirements, and then delete or de-identify it where reasonably practicable. Backup copies and records controlled by external platforms may remain subject to their retention processes. You can contact us to request deletion.

Website technologies and external services

Hosting services and embedded forms may use cookies, logs or similar technologies for operation, security and usage information. Meta also handles information about your activity on its own platforms. Browser and platform settings let you manage some of these technologies; disabling them may affect forms.

This website links to external services with their own privacy practices. You can contact us by email if you prefer not to use an embedded form.

AI assistant enquiries and customer data

Asking about an AI assistant does not grant permission to connect one to your systems or upload customer records to an AI provider. Before an implementation, we agree what information the workflow needs, which tools process it and which actions need your approval. The mortgage broker offer is administrative support, not automated credit advice or product recommendations.

Access, corrections and complaints

To ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, stop follow-up, or raise a privacy concern, email hello@marketlabs.online. Include enough detail for us to locate your enquiry; please do not send identity documents unless we discuss a suitable verification method with you.

We may need to verify that a request relates to your information. We will consider it, explain any information we need and respond within a reasonable period. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain why, including any relevant legal or record-keeping reason.

For a complaint, tell us what happened and the outcome you seek. We will review the concern and respond. If you remain dissatisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for information about available complaint options and whether it can consider your matter.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our information-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies the current version. You can request a copy by email.
